SCULPTURE
I like the solid touch of working in clay and the feel of "mud." My ceramic sculptures are round with organic forms. They are an expression of allegoric themes in three dimensions. With clay, I make a reality that you can walk around. I use permanent glaze colors which can sparkle and reflect like glass or put a matte sheen on a piece that is sumptuous. And I know that the elements of weather will not compromise the art.
All sculpture shown here are ceramic, hand-built, originals.
The Bas Relief pieces are press molded, limited editions, each hand-worked and glazed uniquely.
